David & LouiseAs Leader of Brentwood Borough Council, I want to make myself as open and available to residents as possible. This website is just one of the ways I can do that, in addition to delivering newsletters, knocking on doors and my more recent initiative of holding open surgeries around the Borough.

I hope you will find this website useful both in terms of getting to know more about me and in understanding my vision for Brentwood. In addition, the website is a good way to contact me, make your views known and see what is happening in our lovely Town and our beautiful rural areas. You will find details of my work as both Leader of the Council and also as member for Hutton North ward.

I have lived in Brentwood since the age of 16 and am passionate about our Borough and all that it has to offer. That is why I have been campaigning for many years on a number of local issues that affect our community, including needs relating to individuals and more general issues that touch our whole Borough such as protecting the green belt, enhancing our environment and getting the best out of the Crossrail project for Brentwood, .

Most recently, I have led the campaign to force the train operating companies to recognise that urgent improvements to Brentwood railway station are needed. The “Fix Brentwood Station” project has gathered major support across the community and it is still growing! I will be taking your views on this to the very heart of Government, letting ministers, the Mayor of London and MPs know the importance of upgrading the train service, station building and the surrounding area for what is the 16th busiest train station in the Country!

If you would like to contact me or get involved in any of the campaigns that we are running, please do so. Any feedback on the site is most welcomed and I hope you find it useful.

Finally, I would like to make it clear that this website has been designed and is hosted at my personal expense. No taxpayer money has been used.

Best Wishes
